I love that song from Mary Poppins and now I love the food at the Jolly Holiday restaurant at Disneyland! If you’re looking for a quick service place with tasty food and plenty of seats, then this will make you happy, too. Jolly Holiday is located at the far end of Main Street closest to the castle past Coke Corner and features a nice selection of sandwiches, soups, and bakery treats to satisfy your sweet tooth. My personal favorite is the cinnamon roll which is decadent and worth sharing, but the savory selections are also tempting.
Location: Disneyland on Main Street
Type: Quick service
Specialty: Sandwiches, soups, and bakery items
Cost: $3 to $5 for bakery items and $10 for meal selections
Craig’s Favorite: The cinnamon roll – so good three people could eat it, but one would want to

They have a nice selection of soup and sandwiches. They are best known for their tomato basil soup, but also have a second selection available that changes regularly. Their Caprese and oven-roasted turkey sandwiches are staples, but they have two additional menu choices available daily too. I had the albacore tuna salad on brioche which was hearty and delicious. I’ve also had the turkey sandwich and so far have not been disappointed. The chicken breast sandwich wasn’t as satisfying for me, but the tomato basil soup was very good. The homemade potato chips are crispy, thick, and salted just right. These sandwiches and soups are not your typical theme park fare. Again, the folks at Disneyland have stepped it up a notch. These aren’t the kinds of food you’d find in a vending machine. This is high quality food prepared fresh and made fresh for you.

Looking for a sweet treat to finish off your meal? You don’t have to go anywhere else. Jolly Holiday has great stuff right in the restaurant. I’ve already mentioned the cinnamon rolls, but they have many other bakery selections as well. Included among them are Mickey cookies, Mickey sugar cookies, cupcakes, croissants, and muffins. They have a great selection and something to satisfy most people’s cravings. During the holidays, they have special treats made for that particular season – all of which look way too yummy. So if you’re looking for a tasty place to take your family or just craving a good bowl of soup and high-end sandwich for a reasonable price, try Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe!
