If you’re looking for something uniquely Disney to add to your collection, you’ll be sure to find it at D23 Expo 2015.  Every time Disney fans gather together for this extraordinary event, it seems the selection of exclusive merchandise and hard-to-find items just keeps growing and this year should be no different.  From all of the different press releases shared over the past month, there are already too many things to choose from!  Even after you take into account the Disney Dream Store where you are sure to find a bevy of pins, Vinylmation, games, puzzles, clothing, art, and other decorative items, you still have the Disney Store collection and the Mickey’s of Glendale pop-up store featuring all sorts of Imagineering goodies!  Beyond that, many of the pavilion sponsors will have exclusive items to choose from as well.  It will be an all out souvenir bonanza!

Some of the Vinylmation available at the event - (L to R) Aristocats LE 2000 (with 2 chasers - Marie is 3 out of 4, Toulouse is 1 out of 5, and Berlioz is 1 out of 20) ; Star Wars Rebels LE 1500 (Hera is 9 out of 10); and Fantasia LE 1500 (common Chernabog 9 out of 10)

The Dream Store will be featuring some amazing items this year including a collection of Vinylmation figures celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Aristocats, the 75th anniversary of Pinocchio, the 75th anniversary of Fantasia, and then limited edition Eachez for Marvel’s Avengers’ Vision and Star Wars Rebels (featuring Hera and Kanan).  They will also be sharing the debut of many collectible items like Precious Moments Belle, Pandora’s Celebrating 60 Years of Magic charm, the Alex and Ani Celebrate beaded wrap bracelet, and many other cool and nifty items.  A special R4-D23 astromech droid (part of the Star Wars Droid Factory series) is being released as is a special Princess Kneesa Ewok plush.  Almost all are limited in quantity to purchase and some may run out early.

Some of the high-end pieces available in very limited quantities - (L to R) Mulan - Original ($3,200); Shere Nerve - Original ($2,890), Framed Giclee (qty 95 - $395), and Print ($39.95); Hiya Toots - Original ($4,000), Framed Giclee (qty 95 - $395), and Print ($39.95); Iconic Disney! - Original ($2,100); Jessica Rabbit, Paper Sculpture (qty 20 - $775)

On the high end are one-of-a-kind prints and paintings going for upwards of $2000 for the originals and about $39.95 for the prints.  Some are ONLY available as originals like the Elsa coronation piece for $3200.  There is also a selection of Dave Avanzino paper sculptures framed ranging in price from $775 to $4500.  Sculptures and other fine art pieces are also available if any are left after the Random Selection Process for Sorcerer’s Package attendees.  They are sure to set you back a ways, but for the ardent collector, they are treasures to keep.  A few specialty items I’ll be looking for in particular I thought I would share with you as I think they are especially cool.  So please don’t buy them and leave them for me.  Tell your friends.

Once Upon A Time – Evil Queen and Snow White Collection – Limited to 300 pieces, this Disney Store exclusive will be available for $129.95.  Chances are Sorcerer Package members will get first chance at these so how many are left on Friday morning is anyone’s guess, but odds are very few.  What’s more enticing than getting one of these limited pieces is the opportunity to meet with Ginnifer Goodwin and Lana Parilla who will autograph it for you!  For me, my number one collectible piece.

The Silly Symphonies Collection – D23 Expo attendees will be the first to have the opportunity to order this incredible boxed set of 16 vinyl LPs (yes VINYL!).  Covering all 75 Silly Symphony shorts, Walt Disney Records shares with us that it includes over 8 hours of music from all your Silly Symphony favorites.  And if you pre-order the collection at the convention, you’ll be given an exclusive 10″ vinyl single of The Skeleton Dance and Three Little Pigs.

John Lasseter’s Film Themed Hawaiian Shirts – John, the CCO of Pixar, Disney Animation, and Disney ToonStudios, is notoriously famous for custom-designed Hawaiian shirts centered around the different movies he helped to create.  Well, now you can own an exclusive D23 Expo shirt like the ones John wears created by Reyn Spooner just for the event! Featuring characters from all the films made under John’s watch, this beautiful shirt can be yours from the Disney Store pavilion for $99.95.
